Why TechGirls Exchange Program 2024?
The TechGirls Exchange Program 2024 will empower 111 young women from 37 different countries by 2024. They will be joined by over thirteen American classmates for four weeks in the United States. This is in addition to the seven months of training we delivered in 2012, during which TechGirls empowered 653 young women worldwide. Also, to work as interns at a tech business, Tech Girls must travel to the nations on the list after completing interactive computer and technology camps. They would also do community work and homestays. It also enables diligent women to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals and increase their standing in a global society.
Furthermore, the global leadership course provides students with professional and fundamental abilities that allow them to apply technological and analytical methodologies to potentially answer urgent global issues. It encourages youth leadership and instils a sense of accountability in them, in addition to providing a safe atmosphere. The women are expected to prepare for each activity and stick to the programme. Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be nationals of one of the following regions: the United States, the Western Hemisphere, Europe and Eurasia, Middle East & North Africa, South & Central Asia, East Asia & Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Candidates must be between the ages of 15 and 17 to begin the programme.
- Candidates must be highly skilled and have a passion for maths, technology, or engineering during their education.
- The desire to continue their education and pursue a profession in technology must be there in the candidates.
- You have to speak English fluently.
- Applicants must exhibit flexibility, maturity, and an open mind.
- After they return home, you have to prepare to remain for at least a semester.
- Applicants must prepare to do a community service project in their home nation.
- Applicants who have never been to the United States before or who haven’t been there in the past three years are given preference.
